The Museum in Columbia has an extraordinary collection of American and European pocket watches in addition to the Hamilton and Bulova exhibits that we previously included in a Zoom presentation. This Zoom will tour other parts of the Museum, showcasing the collection as well as machinery from the Hamilton factory and the Museum’s Jewelry Store.

Join us for a special Zoom tour narrated by John Cote, who will share insights into the Museum’s watch collection, the history behind selected pieces, and the broader world of watch collecting.

This will be a unique opportunity to experience highlights from the National Watch & Clock Museum’s watch holdings with expert commentary and time for viewer questions.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the collection with expert commentary and time for viewer questions.

About John

John has been interested in watches and collecting them since he was a little kid, going out to look for watches with his father, who was a long-time NAWCC member. He started in the pocket watch world, but in the ’90s, he started to get the wristwatch bug.

John has been giving talks about collecting at the chapter, regional, and national level since the ’90s, with his emphasis evolving from interest in the watches themselves to interest in the collectors and their collections.

He has been an NAWCC member for well over 30 years and served as an NAWCC board member for 8 years. He has also worked with Executive Director Rory McEvoy on a strategy for improving the watch displays at the National Watch & Clock Museum in Columbia, Pennsylvania.
